Enroll in the CourseCourse Description: In this 4-hour hybrid self-paced and live group training course, you will augment your skills as a Peer Support Specialist by learning the principles of Person-Centered Caregiving in Behavioral Health, Best Practices for Communication and Collaboration in Care Interactions, Setting and Maintaining Appropriate Boundaries, and Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution amongst caregivers, care recipients and the care team.

About the instructor: Rebecca Hoden, DNP, RN, CHPN, GERO-BCRebecca is Vice President of Clinical Operations and Caregiver Learning at Givers Health. A dual board-certified expert in Hospice and Palliative Care nursing, as well as Gerontology nursing, Rebecca is a dedicated educational leader. Since discovering at age 17 that nursing was her calling, she has been committed to equipping caregivers, patients, and future healthcare professionals through expert communication and training. She has extensive experience supporting vulnerable populations within diverse cultural frameworks across the United States and internationally. A lifelong musician, Rebecca credits teaching piano lessons for shaping her ability to connect with and educate others effectively.
